[ENG] Jannabi - Dreams, Books, Power and Walls lyrics

The place where the sun rises and sets again
Hanging onto my small room
Even if I try to sing with an empty heart
It’s just noise to someone

The insignificant sigh that comes out of my lips which are tightly shut

My dad asks if I sighed for him to hear
Feeling guilty, I couldn’t dare answer

How did we
How did we become adults?
Each day is a heavy burden
I can’t go any further

Between dreams, books, power and walls

Days that are too busy to be wary of others
Boy, be ambitious
Such an irresponsible saying

Yelling out to the sea
My absurd little dream
The day I realized I couldn’t achieve it
My temper that broke out like hives
Eventually that name got tarnished

How did we

How did we become adults?
Each day is a heavy burden
I can’t go any further

When you stop and look at me who is left behind
I wonder what thought crosses your mind
Each day is a terrifying night
You’re enduring it well

Each day is a terrifying night

After you wake up from sleep it will be alright
Because you’ll be a day older
Remember those indifferent eyes
Those people’s eyes that we’ve seen when we were young
We’ll have to become a little more like them.

Jannabi - μŠ¬ν””μ΄μ—¬μ•ˆλ…• (ASTEARSGOBY) lyrics

[Verse 1] I’ve forgotten everything now Or did I lose it all? I came searching for answers But I end up leaving questions behind It was a turning point When I get back home and lay down What kind of expression should I make Waving sorrow’s hands Might be coming or going Or standing somewhere [Chorus] Listen, young pal If you look for the things you lost where you lost them  Sometimes it shines a light that knows grief  [Verse 2] I dislike myself But I also like me who’s like that There was a time when I was repulsed by the frequently glimmering happy phrases  [Chorus] Listen, young pal If you look for the things you lost where you lost them  Sometimes it shines a light that knows grief  [Bridge] Look at me, I’m waving my hands Goodbye sadness, ooh, ooh [Refrain] Wind blows, and rain pours And flowers of a season bloomed, bye bye The clouds are white and the sky is blue I grew up at a certain time, bye bye

Jannabi's Choi Junghoon interview with Elle

  Q. I heard that your mother doesn't like your long hair which you have now become famous for. She even sent in a complaint to one of your radio appearances asking 'Why on earth do you grow it'. A. I didn't grow it because I wanted to. I didn't have time to cut it before some gig so I went on stage as is and the fans really liked it. So I kept growing it since. Q. There's the story with your mom, and looking at other stories here and there, I burst out laughing so many times. It seems like your life is a sitcom without intending it. A. I'm a bit like that. Life is like a sitcom, just like the saying "Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up but a comedy in long-shot." There are obviously things you really hate and you could get stressed but in the long run, it's all comedy. You can only laugh.         Q. Jannabi's 3rd album 'The Land of Fantasy' has finally come out. How do you usually feel after putting out an album? A. This time i...

Jannabi - λ ˆμ΄λ””λ²„λ“œ (LADYBIRD) lyrics

[Verse 1] A dated scenery  Ragged lovers Lukewarm raindrops The tantrums that grow on your feet With one eternal expression Shall we take a nap  Or sleep an entire verse We open the book Struggling with the flooding drowsiness  And in one same dream [Pre-Chorus] Sweet, sweet life Stop right there I will remember [Chorus] Oh I'll sing a song for every time of life I sang [Verse 2] “Make me a blissful song so I can sing it anywhere” Just then the sun illuminated her And I smiled quietly  [Pre-Chorus] Sweet, sweet life Stop right there I will remember [Chorus] I'll sing a song for every time of life I sang [Outro] Our weak selves Will be protected by love Love is fragile We need to protect that Rub your eyes and wakeup  While looking at me, as if stroking your eyebrows Outside is still the same Don’t rush our season Our season Is it beautiful or is it messy?
